Applications
Provide protection for process equipment and comes as a belt covering, that:
• intent to come into contact with food
• handle dry, moist and wet food
Hoppers, chutes, operating cyclones, vibrating lines, silos, etc., linings to protect equipment against very abrasive fine grain size products wear, due to their very nature (rock, wood, metal, all fine particle size materials, chemical products, etc.), density and hardness (medium to high), forms (fine particles, bulks).

Hardness | ISO 48-4 | 38 ± 5 Shore A |
Tensile strength | ISO 37 | ≥ 18 MPa |
Elongation at break | ISO 37 | ~ 700 % |
Rebound resilience | BS 903 | ≥ 70 % |
Abrasion resistance | ISO 4649 | 5N ≤ 80mm3 |
Tear resistance angle | ISO 34-1 | ~ 40 N/mm |
Thanks to its natural rubber base, ALPREMA® offers excellent mechanical properties across the board: tensile strength, elongation at break, tear propagation resistance, abrasion resistance, etc.
It also offers high flexibility and elasticity, protects against corrosion and reduces the impact of noise and vibrations, while complying with European and FDA standards for contact with food products.
